It is definitely an important text for anyone wishing to know more about strategy or Chinese History. The only reason this doesn’t rate a 5 is that it only examines 18 of the 36 Stratagems. On page 369 it lists all 36, but the author only analyzes the first 18. I wish it were more complete.
